Meet Clear Creek

Actually, not entirely ignored, at one point there was serious discussion of capturing the stream in almost 2 miles of culverts, to make development easier. Fortunately, that action was not taken but the ensuing retail and commercial development took place with each and every building turning it’s back on the historical little stream instead of taking advantage of it’s natural beauty and heritage.

Meet Clear Creek Task Force

is to create and maintain a community wide network to mobilize support, educate and focus actions to preserve, protect and restore the Clear Creek ecosystem Clear Creek Task Force members and supporters envision a future with Clear Creek as a healthy stream ecosystem with clean water and salmon, plant and animal habitat, providing quiet enjoyment and evoking sensitivity and respect for the stream, a part of our natural heritage.
